Throwback to 15 year old me making body scrubs in jam jars after school in my mum’s living room. Throughout my GCSEs, A-Levels and my degree, I would spend countless evenings making fresh body scrubs with my mum to sell them over the weekends at Greenwich market. It was our way of making a living and fighting the mountain of debt we were under. The body scrub jars were so heavy, they leaked, they broke and they were hard to screw closed – my mum eventually developed a permanent wrist injury from closing so many caps. We worked tirelessly to perfect our formula, and every jar had to be perfect. At most, we’ll make 50 jars in an evening across 5 hours. I sacrificed a lot of my childhood to build the lives we’re so blessed to have now. And today, we still freshly make our body scrubs – on a much larger scale of course! And set to sell close to 4 million products this year. Funny to look back to see how far we’ve come. I’m so grateful to everyone who has been a part of our journey. ❤️
