In order for a client to opt themselves back into email/text marketing, they would have to go on to their Vagaro profile on the bottom right (on the phone app) and click their name, it will prompt them to edit their profile settings. If they scroll further down, they will see a spot that say “Promotional Emails” and “Appointment Reminders”. From there they can go ahead and update their settings to “On” so they can receive them again. And ‘Save’ the settings…

Interesting… Explains a lot…
I’m reading Dr. Annie Morien’s pocket guide for massage therapists on “Infectious and Communicable Skin Diseases.” Learning a lot of cool stuff that gets my attention as a reflexologist. Like, this point: The cold receptors are located in the epidermis, and register temperatures between 50 and 105°. The warm receptors are located in the deeper layer, the dermis, and register temperatures between 90 and 118°. Temperatures outside these ranges will activate the nociceptors, the pain receptors.
That helps me understand why people react to water that’s too cold – or ice massage – before they do water that’s too hot.
This is so unbelievably wrong on so many levels….
OUTRAGEOUS We spy a nail tech washing her hair in a pedicure basin (during business hours)

New resistant bacteria makes disinfection & sterilization even more important everyday… Take no chances!!!

Before you reach for food for comfort at the end of a long day – try this instead: Massage your feet.
According to a study in the International Journal of Neuroscience, rubbing your feet for 60 seconds floods the body with calming dopamine and serotonin – no food necessary. You can even use a tennis ball for your massage – and roll it under your foot on the floor.

What is your first consideration when picking out a pair of shoes? Here are a few suggestions to get a pair of shoes your feet will appreciate! Have your feet measured before buying a pair of shoes, our feet change sizes as we age. Shoe shopping is also best done later in the day when our feet are their largest. Most of us have one foot larger than the other, so fit the shoe to the larger foot. Be sure there is 3/8 to 1/2 inch of toe space for your longest toe with a wide toe box so toes are not “pinched”. Avoid buying shoes that are too tight, never expect shoes to stretch! Foot wear directly effects many of the issues we see in our clients.
Try looking at their shoes, it might give you some answers to the complaints they have about their feet!
Any type of foot massage works… Hands, tennis balls, chilled water bottles, etc
